Our Founders
In 2016, Sasha and Jo recognized the need for a Women in Business chapter at Vanderbilt University. After discovering that Vanderbilt was one of few top fifteen universities without one, they co-founded the organization alongside Clee Malfitano, Kathleen Bond, Mary Win Anderson and Sloane Chmara with a focus on mentorship. After launching Vanderbilt Women in Business, the pair learned just how much other young women also struggle to discover their “dream jobs.” They created Aspire to Her, a community full of inspiration for the first 10 years of a woman’s career launch.
