Our Mission
Vanderbilt Women in Business stands out as an affinity space rooted in the principles of equity, intersectional feminism, and opportunity for those traditionally underestimated in this industry. WiB aims to become the one-stop shop for non-judgemental professional development and leadership training. While other organizations may be outcomes-oriented, WiB is first and foremost community-focused. In doing so, we hope to keep standards high for programming while removing the bureaucracy involved in launching initiatives to promote a more gender-equal workplace.

The WiB Impact:
โWiB has given me such a supportive network of women to motivate and look up to throughout my time at Vanderbilt. I came into WiB without any idea as to what field of business I wanted to go into, but through the amazing people and events that WiB hosts I have found an area of business I am passionate about and a network of women to help me reach my goals and aspirations.โ
โ Class of โ22, HOD & Business
โI went to an all-girls high school and deeply missed an environment of unwavering support, inspiring drive, and community founded on respect and understanding. I looked for it in WiB, and stick around because I found it (and SO much more) here!โ
โ Class of โ23, HOD & English
โJoining WiB as a freshman has been the best decision I have made so far at Vanderbilt. I am so lucky to be a part of a group of such kind, passionate, and welcoming women who are always willing to offer advice and help the best they can. I have already learned so much from these incredible women and can't wait for the opportunities to come in the future.โ
